Should a woman have to choose between a job and a career? I certainly don't think so! Does being successful in one mean you'll be unsuccessful in the other? There have been a lot of research and discussions surrounding this topic, however different studies have resulted in different conclusions.
I often look at women of power and high status and the first thought that comes to mind is if she's married or not. If so, how does she do it? If not, was it worth it?
The decreasing trend of belief in the institution of marriage and the finance dependency a marriage once provided has significantly reduced the rate of marriage these days. So i ponder if those who choose not to get married and focus on their career succeed more than those that are married? And if they do, are they happy that they don't have a spouse to share it with. Of course one does not necessarily need a spouse to share experiences with.
